Transfer Partnerships Program (TPP) About TPP The Transfer Partnerships Program identifies and supports prospective transfer students from California community colleges and assists them in enrolling at the University of California. TPP counselors also assist students seeking to transfer to the California State University and other independent universities. California community college students have highest priority in junior-level transfer admission to all University of California campuses—our counselors help students plan a successful transfer program, working most closely with students who are attending any one of 13 community colleges in the region. The Transfer Partnerships Program includes programs and initiatives that strengthen the transfer process and support individual students making a successful transition to a four-year institution: Developing Effective Engineering Pathways, UCSC Renaissance Scholars Program, and Course Articulation. For more information, contact: Student Services Our Transfer Outreach Representatives visit the 13 community colleges in the immediate region on an ongoing basis to meet with students and provide advising and support to help them attain their transfer goals. The counselors sign up interested students as early as the first term of community college enrollment and will work them until they successfully transfer. All students, including educationally disadvantaged, first-generation college-going, and low-income students are invited to take advantage of TPP services. Students who are attending California community colleges in other parts of the state are welcome to contact us for information and guidance via telephone or email. The Transfer Partnerships Program helps students achieve their educational goals.
